DD1 asked where are the duck babies. I don't remember seeing them this year Sad with lockdown and what not we missed a lot....

What are the nature events not to be missed in London? And do you know when they happen?

Like when are there ducklings? Or when are the roses best in Regent's Park?

Any other cool ideas? Wink

Have you looked at the London wetlands centre in Barnes. There's loads of events going on there at times but I've not been since lockdown. Sorry it's only a point in the direction rather than something specific

I think it's a bit late for ducklings. There were millions on the canal and river by me. Nature is all around in London. Millions of parks and stuff. Kew gardens. The river. The woods. Epping forest. Nature reserves, wetlands. A quick Google brings up dozens of great outdoors places. You just have to look for it. Make it a treasure hunt type thing for her.

Camley Street Natural Park at Kings Cross has just recently reopened after a big revamp. It is amazing.

One of Clissold Park’s resident geese pairs have got 3 babies that are still very cute and fluffy!

It's going to be flying ant day soon. Always a highlight of the wildlife year.
