Hi All,

I am thinking about taking my DD to peppa pig world for her 2nd birthday. Do you think she is too young?? Anybody that has been there with they're children that can shed any light on what it's like etc... Many thanks in advance xx

I thought it was great! I would check the height requirements as a couple of the rides (George's dinosaur for example def had minimum height requirements)

Take a change of clothes as there is a water splash bit. I would def try and go weekday in term time to avoid the crowds if you can. There is a travel lodge or premier inn type hotel right next door.

Thanks for your replies guys! Sounds great! I heard of people taking there babies at 14/15 months so know my DD wouldn't of been the youngest to go there lol! And she adores peppa and George!! Xx

We went midweek in termtime and the queues were still up to 45 mins for some rides. Such a long time for young children to have to stand and wait.

IMO they should limit the number of adults going on rides to reduce the queues. Of course children have to be accompanied but four adults going on something with one child (sometimes taking up two or more cars) is not necessary and just makes queues unnecessarily long.

My top tip is that everything went quiet over lunchtime and after 4pm, due to naptimes probably. We managed more rides after 4pm than we did in the whole morning.

Thanks for your reply AnnPerkins. How old were you lo's when you went? X

Also, does anyone know if the park next to it paultins (or whatever it's called lol!) has rides that are suitable for a 2 year old? Thanks x

Peppa Pig World is part of Paultons - you get access to everything. There are suitable rides, including a minature railway in Paulton's proper.

My two year old adored Peppa Pig World when we went in December. There is definitely more than five rides that a two year old can do! We went for an afternoon and should have gone for longer but definitely it was easier to get on rides later in the day.

Paultons Park also has lots to do for all ages - entry to the park is for all areas, Peppa Pig world is inside Paultons Park The website is here

There is a big water play area, lots of small rides as well as gardens and aviaries with birds to see, as well as penguins and meerkats. There's a train that goes around the park and picnic areas as well as cafes and ice cream stands.

Have fun, we live near by and love it there Smile

There are some suitable rides in Paultons too, your ticket allows you into both areas so definitely worth having a wander. Any time I've been, the queues for the rides there have been much shorter than in PPW. There also have a nice playground and splash park area. Have a great time, my 2.5yo loved it!

AnnPerkins · 17/04/2015 13:53

I think DS was just over 2yo. I don't remember him being too small for any rides in PPW but it was a few years ago.

I remember we had a picnic on a grassy area in PPW and there was a magician doing a little show. DS really enjoyed that and it was great because it stopped him getting bored and wandering off while we ate.

We took him for a walk round some gardens with dinosaurs in and he fell asleep in his pushchair so we could enjoy a quiet cup of tea and some doughnuts.

Do you know if any of the rides take your photograph that you can purchase? And I take it your allowed to take photos of your own? (Didn't know of you were allowed! As other people's children bring there etc! You know what the world is like today! Stupid!!) thanks again in advance for everyone's replies Smilexxx
