An outdoorsy shite good housekeeping question.

What do you do with your used but not dirty enough to wash outdoorsy clothes? Do you wash them anyway after every outing or leave the moldering in a heap in the corner of the bedroom until the next outing when they really are dirty enough to require washing?

I'm curious as we have little piles of grotty kit lying around and it's pretty gross.

Tend to dry them on the radiator with the notion they will get dirty again tomorrow and will do another day.
If they are smelly or so caked in mud that they stand up themselves, they get washed.

Put on coathanger and hang from a doorhandle. That works well for things like walking trousers with mud on the bottoms. Fleece/woolly on chair.

If I make the mistake of not hanging them the dog is liable to chew the button off (I've got to sew it onto my craghoppers again). Wish they came with riveted metal buttons like jeans!

Outdoorsy people tend to be environmentally aware and have better things to do than laundry so of course you shouldn't wash slightly muddy clothes which are only going to get muddy again very soon.

If its actual outdoorsy shite on your clothes, its allowed.

Not been here for a while, broke phone I have several piles of clothes in various levels of revoltingness, the washing machine is usually on (nappies) Everything else gets washed when its desperate. Its finding clothes suitable for outings such as taking ds to the doctor thats the problem.

We have just built an extension and deliberately designed in a "manky clothes and greasy bike wheels" room.

Our builder thinks its a utility room and is confused about why we've put all the white goods in the kitchen .
