What annoying habits has your dog learned to get attention?

Mine has learned that if he asks to be let out for the toilet, even though he can open the door himself, someone will get up and let him out, and he can use your attention as an opportunity to ask for treats/an extra walk/a second dinner/playtime. If he asks for these things when you're busy, and it's not playtime/walk time, or dinner time, he will be sent to bed, so he doesn't ask for any of these things anymore; he asks for the toilet instead.

He is now asking to be out every 2.3 seconds. All day long. Every day. And I can't tell when he genuinely needs the loo or when he's going to make a detour to his food bowl/the treat drawer en route to the garden.

Come and tell me your dog's annoying habits to distract me from locking mine in the garden for the rest of the day.

Barking at me in cafes until he gets some sausage.

Two words

Nose.
Bops.

That little wet nose on my leg somewhere tells me she wants something.

About 30 minutes before dinner time our girl dog would jump off the sofa, approach our sleeping boy dog, shake and yawn loudly, stretch and play bow. He would jump up, delighted that she was taking an interest in him. As soon as he was out of his bed she would get in, lie down and ignore him, which was his prompt to pester us for dinner, muzzle punching and low woofing while hopping on his front feet. He was like her little servant.

Yep this one too!
Sometimes I get the wet nose bop as he walks past as if to say I’m here mum!

I’m currently walking with a zimmer (illness earlier in the year) and my dog has learned to nudge it with his nose if he wants something (mainly food) or even tries to drag it out of my reach. This has replaced sticking his cold nose on any part of bare skin he can find!

If my dog's water bowl is empty, he makes a right racket, it's on the only part of the kitchen with stone floor an the bowl is metal so he just bashes it with his paw to make the almighty annoying noise, so that one of his servants immediately fills it up for him.

I know that the above is actually very useful especially in this heat but still a bit annoying. Upstairs he has a plastic bowl on wooden floor and does the same but not to the same effect 😃
