I have a 13 yr old gr.
He has started pooing on his bed. It was just now and then a small bit but lately it seems to be all the time.
I dont know what to do about it. Seems ok apart from that, not as hungry in the morning but fine eating later and then his dinner.
Is this normal with older dogs? Anything I can do, he sleeps in the kitchen so not particularly hygienic!

Maybe time to see your vet. More toilet visits. Poor soul. Sounds like he's suffering with something. Dementia maybe. Guessing this is unusual for him.

Apart from consulting a vet, as the PP suggested, have you tried putting a puppy pad on his bed? Cheaper options, which I used for my late dog who suffered from colitis, are pads designed for cots or people with incontinence issues, similar to this - 50 x Incontinence Bed Pads | 60 x 60 cm | Incontinence Bed Sheets | Disposable Mattress Protector | Self Adhesive Tabs | Absorbent Pads | (1 Packs of 50) : Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care. I used to get them in Tescos from the health aisle. It can help with the cleaning and bed-protection aspects.

I did try dog nappies for one of my senior dogs at one point, but he didn't get on with them. Various options are there for the Googling.

Best wishes to you and your dog. x

My Lab did this for the last few years of his life. Vet said they can lose tone in the relevant area and don't even know they've done it. He didn’t have dementia and his quality of life was high.
