Which food for sensitive stomachs?

Any recommendations for a none chicken kibble which has worked well with your dogs? I've been raw feeding, but it's often a faff to find enough non chicken food in stock to feed a large GSD. DH also often forgets to get the food out the freezer or leaves it out too long so it has to be binned, I think kibble would be much less hassle.

It’s not kibble but we feed our dog Pure pet food salmon flavour and it’s been great for our dog who previously used to get tummy ache and bow a lot. She was previously on Hills I/D sensitive stomach but I think that is chicken flavour and it’s really expensive so we’re so pleased this is working well. It’s a dry food you mix with a bit of warm water. She was also really fussy but she loves this.

My young Labrador is sensitive to chicken and is on salmon and rice kibble. You need to read the ingredients label to check things. He's currently on Skinners salmon and rice. On subscription from Amazon for 15kg sack, I think the last lot was c£32. It lasts about two months. We tried a few different ones in the small bags before settling on this as a balance between quality and cost. The Autarcky one is horrible, grey and dusty.

Not kibble either but we use Butternut Box for our large dog, he can't have chicken at all so we just tailor the box to exclude it and add extra of beef, salmon, lamb etc. It is kept in the freezer, but if we forget to take them out on time they defrost quite quickly in warm water (and ddog seems to like it better when its warmer!)

I used this site to help narrow down foods for my dog. You can filter by dried, wet etc.

Mine gets kibble and also wet food. For kibble she has this brand https://www.gentledogfood.co.uk/. Other than chicken, it comes in a fish or goat variety.

Gentle Dog Food, Natural Dog Food

At Gentle we believe your dog deserves food that's as close to their natural diet as possible.

Thanks everyone, I'll have a look at the brands mentioned. Sent DH out to buy food as I was at work today and he's come back with Winalot wet and Orlando kibble (which I think is the Lidl own brand). I suspect 'animal derivatives' will likely mean some amount of chicken as it's a cheap meat, will see how the GSD gets on with it.

I might see if I can find a way of safely thawing the raw food we already have in warm water when I get up, so I can just get it out first thing whilst we're on walks. The issue is the packaging makes it float, so it takes a quite while to thaw, if I can find something to effectively weight it down that could work, maybe a tile or something.

Millie's wolfhart are chicken and grain free.

We had to use the highland mix as my boy cannot tolerate barely any fat so all the salmon or fish mixes in other brands were causing him real problems.

Our last dog had a sensitive stomach and he was fine on Nature Diet wet .
