Wanting to change pups food

Hi! first time puppy owner, I have a miniature dachshund, 14 weeks, currently on pedigree puppy wet food. I’m wanting to change him to dry food. Suggestions? I’ve seen 3 different brands that I thought looked good? Please send me options on what works for your pup best.

Are we liking this one?

So I briefly went down a rabbit hole. Quickly discovered Jollyes want to charge me £13.99 for delivery, regardless of amount spent. So I'll be sticking with Country Kibble, which I can get delivered for free.

😮 shocking! Luckily we have a Jollyes close by so it has worked out well and pup is loving it. Definitely not worth that delivery price!

Use this website https://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk to look at ratings and nutritional values of dog food - some are just full of grains and bulking agents.

And when you do change do it really gradually, don’t just switch from one to another; you need to mix a small amount of the new food in with the old food and gradually over 7-10 days increase the proportion of the new food.

I can’t help with what I use as I have working spaniels, which have different needs to yours!

I would suggest so research on the qualifications or lack of them of the person who runs this website.
One of their most highly rated foods, because is grain free appears to be increasing the risk of a heart disease called dilated cardiomyopathy.
The evidence emerging from good quality double blinded studies a reputable institutions like Cornell is that grain free diets high in legumes decrease the contractility of heart muscle.

One of the joys of living in the north of Scotland. They added a tenner on as soon as i entered an Aberdeen postcode. 🙄
Glad your pup is enjoying it. 😊
