Yellow vomit and miserable dog :-(

My boy is looking sorry for himself. Sick once yesterday - grass in it and again thus morning. Has been eating normally but doesn't want breakfast today and looks sad. Have given some of the stuff in a tube whose name I forget - probiotic paste Anything else other than starving or bland chicken / rice ? I hate seeing him sad.
He'll be fine but any little tricks appreciated

Poor boy!
I have a greyhoundy lurcher and sometimes he will vomit yellow bile in the morning because he is hungry. Eating grass is often linked to having a sore tummy but my dog just enjoys it.
I would take him for a walk so he gets some fresh air and exercise which might stimulate his appetite. I will do the first feed as something he really enjoys so for me that is some sliced beef or even a steak (yes I know) or burger and once he has something in his stomach he feels more or less normal.
I do a pre-sleep snack and that has cut the number of times this happens. The first time I saw it, I rushed him to the vet and it ended up costing over £2k for tests etc but now I know it is just normal for him when he has an empty stomach. Obviously this might be very different for your dog so maybe try to coax him to eat a treat food and if he is still refusing food and water ask your vet.
Good luck x

Aw this is helpful thanks. Burger sounds good as does chicken and I've cooked some rice in beef broth so will try that now.
Thanks x

He might benefit from Digestox from Aniforte @LindorLusadi
It's a clay-based product and can help dogs who eat a lot of grass.
I use it for mine and find it effective.

I wouldn't feed him chicken and rice, just small quantities of his regular food warmed with boiling water and allowed to go luke warm. Will make is smell nice but also it will help get some some fluids into him.

Thanks @redboxer321
He's had some rice in broth now and accepted a new toy eagerly so I think it's passed but will buy some of this
