Weirdness reigns over here. Took Bill up to the dog park late (after daycare) Thursday and Friday, then again tonight as he lied through his teeth about needing a poo. Each time he coped with strange or not very well known dogs without turning a hair. Tonight, he spotted a cat through the fence at the end, and ran over to it to bark. Not only did he not wiggle through the extremely large gaps in the fence, but when I walked over to him and called him away, he came! I sent him off ahead of me using 'this way', and he went! He's been barked at twice by strange dogs on the park today, and been absolutely fine with it, and taken turns chasing when playing, even when the other dog was a bit shy, or a bit of an arse, and eaten his own body weight, and just in general not been a nob for 90% of his waking hours (he does save 10% for nobbery, e.g. cat barking, but in fairness who among us doesn't).
Anyway, this is probably just a blip but I'm seeing what he might be as a grown-up and oh my God it's all worth it. Mostly 😍
Wanted to post this here as tomorrow he'll probably pull me into a ditch trying to eat a horse or something.
