It depends on the dog tbh. Some dogs do really well on raw, some won't touch it at all. What works for one dog might not work for another.
The Farmer's Dog (who I use after I found something rather unpleasant in his previous raw food) do a 'Raw Trial Box,' which may be worth trying. Raw feeding is to expensive to buy more than a trial box tbh, you don't wanna be stuck with stuff your dog won't eat.
FWIW, my male dog is on it - he's about 45KG, so gets 1.kg a day (which sounds like a lot, but it's really not). £90 is about 19 days worth of food. But he's a big dog and although it's not cheap at all, his coat is in the best condition of his life and he's full of energy.
My other three dogs (all bitches) just get biscuits, cuts of meat and the odd pack of butternut box split amongst them. Two won't touch raw and one gets horribly sick if she eats it (although she will given half a chance).
So, really worth shopping around to try and find what works best for your dog.
