What would your guesses be for the mixed breeds of this dog?

Any dog breed experts or anyone had a mixed breed similar to this one as a puppy? It's a Romanian rescue. Just trying to work out possible future size.

Would have said part Mioritic - a lot of the Romanian dogs are, but if the age is accurate it's way too small....

Lurcher could be a good call @Lurkingandlearning

No, they show up in even very small breeds from there tbh.

Mine is supposedly about 1/3 of one, he’s the largest in his litter and he’s only about 23kg

Who knows what breeds. Likely many! Behaviourally and physically a gamble. If you are up for that then crack on. If not then think very carefully. I know many with experienced owners who live very limited lives. It’s a hugely traumatic experience being brought over as a pup. I think size is the least of your worries tbh.

@Newpeep I'd agree that it's a gamble. We have a number of overseas rescues in this area and while some of them have turned out to be lovely dogs (especially those from breed-specific rescues) some most definitely have not (one duo are on lead all the time, both lunge and bark, and one is dog aggressive). And one that was supposed to be GSD sized at max has turned out to be some sort of mastiff cross. His owners have worked very hard on his prey drive and general training, and he is turning out to be a lovely dog, but he is massive and isn't what they initially signed up for).
