You know, those funny, endearing behaviours that make you laugh!

Maggie (5 year old border collie) is obsessed with doing the washing. When she sees you stripping* *the bed ot carrying washing, she squeals with excitement and runs to the machine. She continues squealing while you fill the machine, then watches the washing machine go round. When it finishes she starts squealing again as to what you do next. She continues squealing while you put it on the line or clothes horse. Obviously we don't use the dryer to much, but this gets similar squealing when it's used. Everytime we visit another house she has to 'check out' the washing machine, and will stand and gaze in awe at it, even if it's off.

She is also obsessed with the hairdryer and when I'm using it she will come and snap at the hot air like she's biting it.

She loves chasing bubbles and gets a great workout from her. This makes her popular with local kids and she is usually followed by a whole gang of them all wanting to play with her!

What does your dog do that makes you laugh?

Ours is obsessed with getting blow dried! Can’t dry my hair nowadays without her hearing the sound and busting into the room wanting me to blow dry her belly🤣

Runs into the bathroom while I'm in the shower. Leans head over the bath and I have to aim shower at her mouth (I never have it v hot!). She licks/drinks for about 2 seconds before scampering out of the room and having zoomies on our bed.

Has to choose which ball we take to the park - is offered a selection one at a time and will snort in disgust/drop the 'crap ones' (they're all pretty much the same). The favoured ball will be held in her mouth then dropped in our park bag.

She has the run of the house when we go out and isn't left for long very often as we wfh. But generally chilled/no separation anxiety. However if we leave her with a dentistick/chew treat it will remain untouched in the middle of the rug as a silent rebuke. She'll then happily eat it when we're home. My sister's dog does exactly the same.

My dog does that with denti stix. She won't eat it unless we're sitting with her in the lounge. Nowhere else will do.
I gave her a chew this afternoon whilst doing the washing up. She sat behind me with the chew in her mouth, whining. As soon as I went into the lounge she happily ate her chew on the mat.
