I've always fed my dog on Bella & Duke complete raw food. He does great on it, however, I can no longer afford the £120 per month it was costing me.

He has a sensitive tummy too. I'm looking for something that costs no more than £50 per month ( he weighs 25kg) and something I can buy in the supermarket (Lidls or Tesco). I'm open to wet food or kibble or a combination of both.

£50.00 a month for a 25kg dog is doable and you can still have a good quality food. Getting from lidl or tesco makes it harder

I feed bulmers raw for significantly less than that

Skinners Field and Trial Duck and Rice. My old girl had a sensitive tum and lots of allergies. She did well on this. About £35 for a large sack.

I used this site to help me narrow down what to try. You can filter for raw/kibble and certain things like grain free etc. I don't tend to pay much attention to the costings it says, because sometimes you get better deals from the actual food site.

I second this site - you will soon see a lot of the more popular feeds are poor quality

We use Skinners too - one of the working dogs ones

We feed Harringtons (a mix of wet and dry) for less than £30 a month for our 18kg beagle. I order it online via their subscription service but you can get it in Tesco too.

Their dry food isn't the best, but the wet scores pretty highly and, most importantly, it agrees with him and he never has an upset stomach or anything like that on it. The vets are always very complimentary about his health when he goes for his annual check ups.

What suits one dog won't suit another, so the best thing is to figure out your budget and buy the best you can afford. ZooPlus is a great resource for more obscure brands of food that don't cost the earth.

We’ve been using Jolly’s own brand life stage grain free for a while now and our sensitive dog gets on well with it. If you buy some food every month you get 10% off the following month. Pretty sure you can get it delivered but we just call into the store once a month.

Sorry, just checked the voucher. It’s 15% off.

Another vote for Skinners - I bought a 15 kg sack online for £19. Other dog is on another kibble but they only cost a total of £30 a month to feed, one Labrador, one springer spaniel.

Jolleys lifestage is brilliant quality for the price, we used it for years until the only shop on the island didnt have it in stock for months.

We use wellness core from pets at home now, really good quality and you get a discount if you set it up as a repeat order same as jolleys
But its going to be top end of your budget for a 25kg dog
Mines just under 12k and I go through about 6kg a month she's small but active.

Look up working dog foods, there’s no VAT to pay on them which cuts costs considerably. When I had a bigger breed,( I only have tiny ones now who eat Carnilove which isn’t cheap but they’re so small a bag lasts ages, and home cooking) they used to do best on Dr John’s. I used the Silver as it was best for growing their show coats, higher protein made them lose coat, but they do several varieties including hypoallergenic.
The company responsible for creating Dr John Dog food (Gilbertson & Page) has been making dog food for around 140 years, making this one of the longest-standing companies They certainly know what they are doing & get good reviews if you look online. It’s widely available from most pet shops & places online like VetUk & Viovet. Even my tiny village pet shop stocks it.

Your dog is on Pooch & Mutt at the moment, he has a sensitive tummy too and it suits him. Good quality without being crazy expensive!
