8 year old dog and behavioural issues

Looking for some guidance please.
We have an almost 8 year old Morkie, she has been the sweetest little girl,.so loving and affectionate.
We had a baby and moved house 2 years ago and the dog was fantastic through it all.
We've never had any issues with her until about 7 months ago.
In the space of a week she snapped at me and bit me whilst I tried to remove her from barking out the window and then a wwek later bolted out the front door and made an attempt to run away.
Since then, we have had an absolute nightmare with her. Around the baby she is constantly panting, scratching, digging, hiding, jumping into the fire and presses! The baby isn't that bothered by her.
We've had a behaviourist in and she believed she was in pain. The dog has tested negative for Cushings and had blood work done, nothing showed up. NSAID's and xanax haven't worked either.
She had since become more aggressive with us and snaps at us when we try to stop her jumping into presses or the oven!
We are concerned that she will snap or make an attempt to bite the baby.
She's scheduled to have scans tomorrow.
My question is if nothing shows up on the scan, what is our next step? We'll have tried to find a source of pain and at our wits end with stress. Has anyone encountered similar?

She's trying to jump into the fire ?? That's very unusual behaviour for a dog, they tend to have a natural caution of fire. I'm not sure what "presses" are though?

You need to keep dog and baby completely separate using stair gates for the time being while you decide what the next steps are. Make sure she has absolutely no opportunity to bite the baby. She's a small dog so it shouldn't be hard to contain her.

Apologies presses are cupboards!

If pain has been ruled out, it could be a brain tumour.

I would be concerned about a tumour, bless her. If she getting a brain scan?

Thanks for your response and concern. No, she is not getting a brain scan today, there has been no mention of that at all. She is scheduled to have an ultrasound on her chest and abdomen and xrays to rule out any joint pain.

Thanks @muddyford I will keep this in mind when I go to collect her later and if there have been no other findings on the ultrasound, I will bring this up with the vet.
