Seizures

I'm so worried about my dog (10 year old American cocker). About 6 weeks a go at lunchtime he had a seizure, he wet himself and was basically laying on his side running. He had blood tests but nothing was abnormal, he has been fine since.
Two weeks ago, my other dog went from healthy to being PT in three days.

Today at lunchtime, he had exactly the same seizure, I feel it may have been slightly longer but not 5 mins, and as I wasn't in the room when it started last time, I may be remembering it wrong.

Last time afterwards he ran around like a maniac, this time he laid on his side for a bit but then acted like nothing had happened.

I phoned the vet and asked them to make a note of it on his record.

I'm so worried I love him so much and I actually don't know what I would do without him. I'm having a very stressful time at the moment and he is my happy place.

Should I ask for an MRI? Is it likely to be a brain tumour?

Hi there

It's very frightening to see your dog experience a seizure. Our 1 year old Labrador had 3 seizures within a year and we spoke with our vet and we made the decision to put him on Soliphen and he hasn't had a seizure for 3 years. He still has to have his bloods taken regularly to monitor his situation.

Good luck but definitely go see the vet.
