Pup doesn’t want to poo outside

Pup is 14 weeks on Monday so still very young but we seem to have regressed a bit in the toilet training the last few days. So she will pee outside no problem but then not pooing, and then pooing inside. This is after waiting for ages outside and then she starts getting wound up and pulling back towards the house. Am I just going to have to stand out there for hours until she does it? Or keep taking her out every 10 minutes? Any tips welcome.

How quickly after coming back in is she pooing? Does she show any signs of needing to go like circling, sniffing etc?

Yes she sniffs and shows signs and then if I take her out she won’t go whereas before she was. Sometimes it’s been pretty quickly after coming back in. This is what is making me thing she’s holding it to do in the house.

If that's the case I would just stay out there for as long as it takes, or maybe bring her in then take her out "mid spin" as it were so she finishes outside.

Another thing that can work is putting some of her poo outside and leaving it so the smell makes her realise where she needs to go.

I’ll try that thank you

Perhaps hold her on your lap when you come in (if she poos shortly after coming in) and as soon as she struggles take her out and put her down. They can be little buggers for doing it in comfort.
