Tonight we’re going to meet this little lady. She is 9 weeks old and a mix of a shihtzu, Yorkie and chihuahua. We haven’t decided if we’re having her yet (LOL) but ds9 ds5 and dd2 are besides themselves with excitement.

probably a bit late, but I wouldn't be getting that mix of breeds, especially with a 2 year old.

if you do get her she needs a safe place to retreat to, as does your 2 year old.

9&5 yo need to be warned she's tiny & any picking up they're allowed to do needs to be gentle & not to 'put her down' from any height even if she's 'biting' their hands. She'll be a nippy little bugger with very sharp teeth!

I should’ve said that yes we are familiar with all the breeds. The mom, dad and puppies are coming from a house with a two year old. My mom has a Yorkie mix. My aunt has a shihtzu. It’s all good -
all my kids are brilliant with dogs including the two year old. Puppy has a safe space and all my kids know how to handle pets. We recently lost our elderly Yorkie mix. We absolutely haven’t chosen the puppy based off how cute she is.
