Hello all
When we bought our rough collie as a pup we got a very expensive crash tested Swiss boot crate (very heavy) for our car to fit that model (seat Tarraco). We've just changed car to another make and the crate no longer fits (2cm) too tall. In my car she goes in a doggy hammock on the back seat.
New car, we have bought another, firmer hammock, seat cover for back seat but the door openings are not as wide and she isn't the most agile dog in the world. She's fine in the boot (soft dog guard across the back plus she's tethered too. We go caravaning and need to take the awning. Thinking of buying a dog guard and half boot divider. What do people use to transport their woofers, particularly if you have stuff to put in the boot.

If anyone wants an amazing, super safe crate that weighs a ton, let me know!

Trans k9 crates are fantastic

Always use a crash tested crate. Trans K9 are our go to. You can get a really good price for them second hand.
Roof box when we go away.

Personally seen too many injuries on dogs in seat belts and tethered in cars when involved in quite minor crashes.
