just did a quick search and there are loads, can anyone recommend one? I’ve started cooking for my very very fussy cavapoo but need to know he’s getting everything he needs

Never even heard of Dog Nutrition Courses, sorry.

Centre of excellence diploma in canine nutrition. Search for discount codes, costs about £27 with discounts and will give you the info you need. There are loads of canine courses on there.

It's hard to believe that a course like this would actually help anyone. Feeding a dog isn't rocket science.

Far better to pay money to a veterinary clinical nutritionist to draw you up a bespoke feeding that you will know will be balanced. There are several excellent ones out there that your vet can refer you too.

You might be better doing a SM course?

I think a lot of sales might be driven by SM and attending events like Maker's Markets?

I would guess, with my limited knowledge, if you move away from commercial complete foods you need to be very aware your dog is getting the right balance of food types and nutrients. The best foods/foods to avoid for dental health and general foods to avoid feeding regularly (not just the commonly known toxic ones).

It isn't "rocket science" some people just prefer/like to have this in a course type format where they can ask questions about things they are unsure of rather than go out and research themselves.

It's actually not that simple once you move away from complete, commercial diets. You need to make sure they have the right balance of nutrients and that they get everything they need to be healthy - it's often quite expensive and means adding all sorts of supplements and oils.

Oh missed this there are vets who spend years specifically studying nutrition to give this kind of diet advice.
