Well, just what it says really. Things to stuff a Kong with, that will freeze and keep a puppy occupied for more than 10 minutes. Preferably not too high fat.

I’ve been soaking kibble in hot water, then when soft, mixing/ mashing up with a tin of sardines (in oil, mostly drained off). A cereal bowlful amount fills 3-4 kongs and a lickymat which I then freeze.

I just use a decent quality wet food tbh, I’ve one who’ll eat anything and one fussy git, they both seem happy with wet food.

Not a recipe but cottage cheese is good ,low in fat high in calcium .

Be careful with a young puppy that you don't use anything too rich.

We used to soak his kibble and mash it onto a paste and use that, or just use his normal wet foods. Sometimes I'd add a bit of apple sauce, mashed banana or doggy peanut butter too.

I fill it with his usual kibble plus some raw veg like carrots or peas and then I make some chicken or meat stock whenever we have a Sunday roast with no added salt or onions and I pour the stock into the Kong and freeze it. He loves that.

Occasionally I use the same wet food brand that he has as kibble and put that in his Kong or his licky mat

Mashed banana with a bit of peanut butter (Aldi do a cheap no sugar, no salt one)

i use dog peanut butter, carrots or cheese. Often stuff a treat or kibble in as well. Also JR products pate.

I find this Kong seems to last longer than the traditional one. It seems to take Riverpop longer to get the peanut butter from the cracks.

Frozen peas!

I use mashed up soaked kibble, cooked mashed sweet potato and a bit of greek yoghurt. Sometimes I add sardines but only in spring water, no oil. Grated carrots, apples and cucumber for a change.
