Please someone talk to me. I have to wait until 3.30pm for the vet to ring

My lovely dog has been there all day. I think there's something very wrong, she's gone downhill so fast.

We are home. Thank you all for your kindness. Bladder cancer and something wrong with her kidney too. About 2 months if we can help the infection she has now. Otherwise much less.

Hug your pets. I regret every walk I cut short.

My own girl has a suspected brain tumour and is on her decline so I know all too well. Focus on every good moment you have left, give her all the treats and love you can.

Oh, OP. I am so sorry it's not good news.

Agree with PP - give her the best of everything for the time she has left. And don't focus on the walks you cut short - focus on all the love you gave her. It sounds like she's had an incredible life and has been much loved - she couldn't have asked for more than that!

I'm crying for you and you dog. What is her name?

Please don't beat yourself up, you have been your dogs entire world and she loves you unconditionally.

Enjoy what time you have left, she knows how much you love her.

Sending a massive hug. We lost our dog recently and it broke my heart but once it was over I was just glad that she wasn't in pain any more. You've given her a lifetime of love and a safe home and that's all they want. Sending love and strength,

I am so sorry. They don't deserve it.
If it's not too painful you, and you have any advice, I would welcome it very much.
Very unwell here too, hoping anti sickness, and antibiotics work soon to help her get through the next few days.

Sorry to read this op. I lost my ddog just before Xmas. We had to make the heartbreaking decision there and then to stop his pain. I felt guilt for cutting walks short through winter, not getting round to bathing him etc. Take comfort in the fact you've got time to make her end of life special. Sending best wishes x
