We sleep with two in our bedroom. One's a gentle old girl. I was woken last night to the sound of weird breathing, realised it was her and got to her immediately. Now, anyone remember the end of Blair Witch, that guy standing in the basement facing the corner? My lovely girl was standing on her sofa facing the fabric back of the sofa, nose right up against it (and i think was struggling to breath as a result). I gently touched her (she can't hear or see well) and she turned and looked at me in a scary slomo film way, wide eyed and like she didn't recognise me (this happens with her occasionally nowadays), then immediately settled down and went fast asleep... whilst I on the other hand did this 😲😱 for a bit!
I just took her up to bed and remembered this weird middle of the night oddness! I'm making light of yet another sign of her aging process, but it did give me a giggle. Anyone else have a beloved pet go creepy on them?
