Restless and jumpy cocker

My female cocker is almost 2. She has been so lovely to train, and was settling into a really nice daily routine. Over the last few days though, she seems to have so much excess energy, and is constantly hungry and restless, desperate to go out all the time. Prior to this, her daily routine seemed to work fine for her.
She generally goes out three times a day: a morning off lead walk for 40 minutes or so, lunchtime for half an hour, and a late afternoon walk, also generally off lead for 30 minutes ish.
She also often goes out to work with my husband, and spends a couple of hours exploring and sniffing around at the house he is renovating.

Any ideas why she might suddenly be so wired? She has returned to pulling relentlessly on the lead, being jumpy and barking at home etc etc. She is not due a season. Might this just be another stage of maturing?

Thanks all

Phantom pregnancy?

My dog used to do this whenever a fox was nearby. She's very elderly now, and doesn't leave her bed much, but sometimes if she gets a whiff / sound of a fox, she's more animated than usual. She wouldn't settle at all the other night, and it was only when I went out with her (2am) I heard the cry of the fox, it's such a haunting, shrieking sound, I'm not surprised my hound wanted to sniff the air and re-assure her self nothing untoward was happening.

Try longer off lead walks and some brain type dog toys.

Sounds like she’s in the thick of her rebellious teens! It’s a thing and it’s real.
