Puppy vomiting

Our 5 month old puppy has vomited for the first time today, first was her breakfast (kibble), then later on yellow bile twice. She's not interested in her food all, having a little taste of water when offered. In herself she's okay, ive walked her fine this morning, and she's been following the DCs around as as normal this evening and barking at strangers (also normal).

Poo's have been normal and I haven't changed her food.

She's due at the vet on Wednesday for a check up, do I see how she goes until then?

If her poos are normal and she's fine in herself, eats & drinks pretty normally and she doesnt vomit much more, I think you can wait til Wednesday.. but if you're worried just give them a bell in the morning. They are always really good
With advice over the
Phone, esp when it comes to puppies.

Sorry just saw that she isnt into her food.. if that continues give them a call. What breed is she?
If she's a Labrador and not into her food.. then you need to take action for sure.

Thank you, she's a mini schnauzer, I was kind of thinking along the lines of vomiting in humans, but it's all new so thought best to check.

Our 5 month old had an all expenses paid day at the vet last week as she stopped eating and drinking and was very flat. She has fluids and tests after a jab the day before didn’t work and they didn’t find anything. She perked up with fluids and got better after that in a few days.

I was concerned with not drinking. Not eating I’d generally leave a day or so.

No idea what it was but suspected virus or something she ate although no idea what as she’s always supervised.

ours is a border terrier so small but robust! I’d be inclined to call the vet tomorrow if she’s still the same. They can go downhill as pups quite quickly. We are however very glad of insurance! That’s the first years premium that have now paid for themselves!

I think the yellow bile is because her stomach is empty.
When mine are poorly I give them chicken and rice. I cook some chicken thighs in rice, with extra water to make it a bit sloppy and then shred the chicken. They absolutely love it!

Thank you everyone, she was fine overnight. She's not as bouncy as usual this morning but has still managed to bark at the neighbours! She had a big drink of water this morning and was mooching around her food bowl so i'll see if the water stays down and then try her with something light. She also had a wee which is always a good sign.

It's like having a baby all over again when they can't tell you what's wrong.
