Ddog isn’t interested in his food

Ddog doesn’t seem unwell apart from lack of interest in his food. He’s never been massively motivated by food other than high interest treats like hotdogs.

ddog is a 2.5 year old working cocker. He’s still full of energy on walks and sends himself other than not eating much. We’ve had a busy Christmas with sleep over at my parents (somewhere he’s used to and was settled) then 2 nights at in laws - 5 hours in car with service station breaks and a high stress home with little opportunity for ddog to relax except at night. We had to negotiate for him to be allowed upstairs to sleep on our bed as he needed space away from the noise. It was also very wet and stormy so not great for walks. he did eat there but only one meal a day rather than 2 and me sitting beside him.

We’re now home and he’s sniffed his food a few times. He’s raw fed. We’ve added ham and cheese to it to encourage him but nothing. I’ve just thrown breakfast away and put down kibble.

Should I be worried or is this normal and likely to settle now we’re home (we got home 7pm last night).

I think it could just be he’s still coming down from all the excitement?

but has he ever been picky before? Our ddog is, so not unusual he would leave a dinner so this wouldn’t concern me but if it’s not usual maybe I’d be more concerned if he wasn’t hungry by tomorrow

Our DDog a highly food motivated rescue always goes off his foot after an unsettled few days such as Christmas and travelling etc. Normally after a few days he's back to normal. If he is still eating his treats then I wouldn't worry.

he ate his kibble over night so we’ll stick with that for a couple of days to avoid wasting more raw food. He’s happy in himself.

I've had this at Christmas, ddog was holding out for nicer food as he had been spoilt by my parents! If he's still eating some food i really wouldn't be overly worried
