Names for female black labrador

We're getting a labrador puppy on Saturday.
Still undecided on names.
So far we have on the list
Trixie,Tilly, Jet,Pepsi,Ebony, Cleo,Mila, Mimi,Millie and Bella.

Which are your favourites or any other suggestions please?

Raven is good too and great for shouting after their ever diminishing hindquarters as they disappear into the horizon “RAAAAAYYYVUN!”
I had a lovely Bessie of a very different breed and I think it’s a kindly name.

Our Black lab Millie but glad we didnt as Lots of dogs called Millie about! I like Cleo!

I love Olive - wish we'd called ours Olive!

If I got a female one she would be Mabel

I like the Lucy suggestion too, also good for calling.

Interesting that one syllable names are better for recall, I wouldn’t have guessed that. Tess works well.

Trixie and Tilly are "small dog" names to me, for yappy little handbag dogs
Jet is a boy dog
Pepsi and Ebony are too "try hard" for a black name
There's a million dogs called Bella

Cleo, Mila, Mimi and Millie are all better than the ones above.

I like Betty too! I know female labs called Deirdre, Elsie, Lucy and Maggie.

Tess, Meg, Nell or Bess

There are lots of dogs called Tilly, Mabel and Bella so I'd avoid those names

Tilly is way too popular.
