How to get dog to take pills

Dog is point blank refusing to eat prescribed paracetamol. He's also on steroids and taking those no problem. We've tried hiding it in cheese, ham, hot dog sausages, and the little fucker eats the food and leaves the pill. Please help!

Bit expensive but I found Parma ham was irresistible and sticks to itself so hard to extract pill from.
But the tactic of feeding multiple treats and sneaking in the pill laced one also worked for us.

My dog is a nightmare with tablets also but when someone in the house drops a pill and loses it we all panic in case the dog gets it, when really there is no way she would .

This! Ours can eat whatever we put around the pill and spit it straight back out 🤣

What worked for me (mostly) was to have another treat waiting in my other hand. Ddog would focus on swallowing the treat with the pill in ASAP to get to the next one
