Which puppy food?

I’m having trouble with my pup and food although she is gaining weight.

I bought a f1b cavapoo at 10 weeks old. She was the runt of the litter as she was a lot smaller then her siblings and weighed 1kg when we brought her home.

im wondering if anyone can give any recommendations on which food she may actually eat…

she was on wet puppy royal canin when we got her… after feeding it to her for a few days she basically stopped eating it and would literally back away from her bowl when I put it down and just walk off. She would eat a little bit later in the day but that was it.

i then bought Bella & duke and she lapped it up for a few days but again she back to hardly eating any and I now have a freezer full of the stuff! she’s had the salmon, lamb & turkey and only really eats some on the evening when she hasn’t eaten all morning.

Iv also tried royal canin dry and ava dry kibble in a bowl (including doing it with hot water and letting it cool down) and she doesn’t touch it.

many other recommendations?! Even though I’m building up a big collection of food that’s not getting eaten😳

despite the above she has gained approx 270g in the 4 weeks we have had her.

I’d be careful you’re not teaching her to be fussy-particularly with all the flavour options too. Has the vet checked her recently?

I have a fussy cavapoo and I tried a variety of foods. He would wolf them down for a few weeks and then stop eating again. I eventually switched to Butternut and he has been happy on it for over a year.

I was going to suggest Butternut too. We used it to transition ours from puppy food and he loves it.

Yes she’s been to the vets for jabs and he did a general check over and said she looks perfectly healthy.

Shes a really lovely dog, I couldn’t of asked for a better puppy. She doesn’t mouth. She sits without asking when giving her food/treats. She didn’t cry through the night either and never has.

The Bella and duke is the raw puppy food and just came in loads of different flavours which is why she’s had so many but I defo don’t want her to be fussy and would prefer she had dry overall.

Thanks I will look into that!
