Does anyone want to guess what my latest foster dog is?

I foster for a rescue and currently have custody of this little cutie. But what the heck is he?

He has very short Queen Anne legs and is long backed like a daxie. Very floofy but almost wirey type of hair.

I know he's a Heinz 57 but his face looks 'familiar' but I can't put my finger on it

Spaniel and Corgi?

I was going to say corgi too. He is gorgeous!

Collie/ Lassie/ Papillion/ Corgi is my punt.

@Mrsjayy we fostered this little beast earlier this year. DH jokes that he was a foster dog for all of about 17 minutes... he snuggled up to my dsd and she turned to me and said "you're not going to let him live somewhere else are you?" 😆

Like pps I'm seeing corgi/collie, but something about the eyes looks beagle to me.

Is he Romanian?! I have a Queen Anne legged Romanian Street Special, and meet a lot of similarly proportioned Romanian pooches around here! Mine has a gingery golden lab coat, but people guess somewhere in the corgi/dachshund/beagle/jack russell mix. Pick n mix dogs are the best!

He’s a Kokoni - a Greek breed. He’s absolutely beautiful

My DPs have a Portuguese residue who is very similar and is Kokoni. Very similar, gorgeous dogs.

I've got a border collie and a phalane which was originally bred from the cavalier king Charles spaniel and that is what I see in the face shape.

Yes he's Romanian. Was a street dog, he's nearly 3 now. So interesting to read about Kokonis.

Lolling at 'foster fail'. I think that might be accurate. I've been doing fostering for 2 years now, number 1 foster fail is currently wrapped around my legs.
