Insurance / behaviour

We currently have pet insurance for our small mixed breed. I've spoken to the vet a couple of times about him snapping, barking at runners if spooked and this is in his notes. He's being referred, at my request, to a behaviourist as he goes mad barking if you sit down for too long and anyone darts passed / at the postman etc.
Is this going to cause me issues now changing insurer ie. I think he's classic terrier traits I want to work with but now I'm worried about insurance if we ever change, 3rd party liability cover etc? Thanks

It will almost certainly be excluded if you change insurer as it's a pre-existing issue that is in your dog's veterinary notes.

Yes - any issues (including behavioural ones) will be excluded from future policies, though I believe you can apply to have them removed after a certain amount of time.

Having said that, that may only apply to physical issues, not behavioural ones.
