What breed? I'm guessing Labrador or similar?

Some dogs just moult a lot and there's not much you can do about it. Daily brushing, lots of hoovering, and removable covers and blankets work best.

We have a Samoyed pup so waiting for her first moulting, I've been told to take to groomers who can get rid of a lot of the dead hair that's waiting to drop out. They can also use the dryer to blow away lots of the coat too

Ha ha ha. Sorry. I just know. We have a German Shepherd and a rag doll cat. I could felt a new one of each every day from the excess fur. Regular grooming and a good vacuum. Tumble weed is part of our life but we do have a cat and dog meile vacuum (which is good on carpet and wooden floors) and I have a handful of those clothes rollers with the sticky paper. For flat surfaces, the hand-held "Lint Rolled" metal wire roller is a bit of genius. Just watch it on fabrics that are loosely stitched.

You guessed right!
Black Lab.

I was hoping someone had some little cleaning hacks, or good nifty cleaning products etc!

You could try a Furminator for brushing - you'll need to it daily to keep on top of it, but labs moult a LOT - which is why I would never have one Grin

We got really lucky with our lab, she doesn't moult much at all compared to other labs I know. Fortunate really, as she sleeps on our bed! I bought one of those rake brushes and it was a very disappointing experience. Sorry, not much help to you op.

Is he young?
It will get better as he gets older.
In the meantime, Eufy is your friend!
I have a lab vizsla x and two sheddy cats. Eufy is everything!

Yes she's 9 months.
Does it change with age? I didn't know that. Thanks!

Groom every day come rain or shine. I have two pugs and they shed all the time. Grooming each day is the best way and these little darlings sleep in my bed so it's a must

Hacksaw grooming. Works really well. Our Lab loves it! It removes a huge amount of hair.

Black lab owner here 👍😀
Get a few sticky rollers. The kind that you peel the top layer off to get a fresh sticky layer. We got ours in packs from Costco. We go over clothes and furniture.
A fulminator.
A rubber glove on you hand brushed over furniture and carpets is good for getting the fur up as well as using an old croc shoe

I use Dyson animal hoover as well as having a small handheld hoover for spot cleaning in between
