Pick of the litter- too much choice!

How did you pick your pup and do you ever wonder if you made the wrong choice with its personality?

We had the pick of the litter and get pup this week. DC is having a slight wobble now that we made the right choice.

I've only ever had a choice of a litter once and the puppy picked us, she dragged herself out of the basket, looked at us and sat down between us. She was a handful well into old age, so I'm no help. I would agree with the breeder knowing best.

Lovely to hear all these stories. The breeder sent us a photo of the litter yesterday. Our pup looked decidedly unimpressed with the immature behaviour being displayed by her siblings. I like her already 😂

We went for the bolshy one with the big personality. He is absolutely wonderful - very intuitive and sociable. Wouldn’t change him for the world.

I went for the quiet one and it has pros and cons.

Pros are that he's calm, not too excitable and you can take him anywhere.

Cons he can be nervy of people he doesn't know and can take an instant dislike to another dog.

As long as you're prepared to put the work on you can get the dog you want from any puppy imo.
