Tell me to stop looking at Labrador puppies

I really, really want a Labrador at some point in my life and the urge is currently very strong.

I already have a 7yo whippet and 3 teenagers and life is good, all on an even keel, manageable, great.

But I have such a hankering for a lab! I work from
home, have time for good walks and playing, probably can’t afford huge vet bills but could afford to feed/flea/vaccinate another dog.

Tell me your dreadful puppy stories and nightmare lab tales…

My boy is 8 now ,was not really a chewer either very laid back as a puppy but they do like a job to kero them out of mischief

But the long walks I all kinds of weather and tbe hair everywhere

Do it! We a half lab/ half golden retriever, mum and dad both working breeds. Best doggo ever! Friendly, loving, playful, smart, very respectful of the cats, endlessly pleased by everything. Such a bright spark in our lives.

Probably not going to help but this is my view from my sofa this evening .. our dog Annie is so loving that we decided to have a litter.. obviously did all health tests and chose the sire very carefully.. even at three weeks they are developing their own personalities.. we already know which one we are keeping.
