Aggressively licky dog - help!

4 year old working cocker spaniel bitch. She is an amazing dog and we love her to bits, but recently she has become aggressively licky to me (does not do the same to DH). If I sit down in the evening she no longer just settles down for a cuddle. She puts her full weight against me and manically tries to lick me all over: any bare bit of skin, through my clothes etc.
I gently push her off and say no, but she continues to do it. To be honest it makes me feel violated and it only stops when I move.
I miss our old calm (lick free) cuddles and would be so grateful for some advice. She has 2 long walks a day, does agility and plenty of stimulation and also down time.
TIA

I would be putting her up and putting her on the floor or even in a different room. If you are allowing her to continue you’re just reinforcing that it’s ok

How is your health?

I hate to say it, but dogs can sense when something is wrong and licking might be their way of trying to tell you that something doesn't feel "right".

Have you recently changed your shower gel or anything else you use on your skin? I remember when someone gave me some cooling foot balm, which was lovely except that my collie cross agreed and stalked my feet in order to lick them. In the end I had to go and wash it off!

A woman who trained dogs to detect cancer had a similar change in behaviour from her dog. She turned out to have aggressive breast cancer. If you haven't changed your body lotion or shower gel it might be worth getting yourself checked out.

My dog was doing that when she had a phantom pregnancy ( her spay had to be cancelled)
