Ongoing vomiting

Ddog has been unwell since the early hours (isn’t it always?!) of Tuesday morning. Typical gastro symptoms, vomiting, loose poo, getting more ‘squirty’ (sorry) and liquid, keen to eat grass.
Lethargic but not at all tender when her abdomen is touched or palpated.
We stopped normal food, did bone broth, chicken and rice and Canigest. We took her to the vet on Weds pm.
She’s got antibiotics (metronidazole) and omperazole, given twice a day. Vet said to expect improvement in 3/4 days. Today is day 4.
She’s still vomiting a few times a day and is the extremely sorry for
herself after it happens.
No more poo but I’m thinking that’s because of her diet change, tiny portions and the vomiting.
She’s not gone off her food at all but she’s a rescue who was on the streets so I don’t think there’s much that would stop her eating.
She wasn’t off lead on the days before this started, so no real opportunity to eat anything suspect, unless it was something birds dropped in the garden.
She’s a very tough girl and, of course, we adore her.
Does the ongoing vomiting sound like something I need to call the vet about? Anyone else has similar with their Ddog?
Any words of advice that will keep me away from Google and diagnosing her with imminent death..?

If she's still vomiting then the medication won't be working properly, surely?

I would say she absolutely needs to go back to the vet and she probably also needs an anti-vomiting injection.

Thanks, @fairylightsandwaxmelts, I was wondering about an anti-emetic. I guess it’ll stop her feeling nauseous, which can only be a good thing.
Fortunately, thus far, she’s vomited hours after her meds, so I’m confident they’ve had time to get into her system.
I know omep is a timed release capsule but only once has she brought up any of the little ‘beads’ in it.
They’re such a worry...

Unfortunately my dog vomited something up about 2 weeks after he had eaten it so do be aware that a foreign object can rattle around for a while in their stomach before causing a problem. Thank god this time for us it didn't cause an obstruction but did result in vomiting episodes.

I would contact your vet again and explain the ongoing symptoms.

Thanks for the heads up, @BiteyShark. That’s a really long time v glad it didn’t cause an obstruction. I don’t think hers is due to obstruction, as she’s not tender at all and she let the vet (and me) feel her tummy but I guess something could be rattling around. Not sure what, though, as she’s reactive so
not often left to her own devices outside of our garden.
She ate at 8am today and hasn’t vomited thus far. I’ll keep an eye and if she does I’ll call the emergency vet or speak to our surgery in the morning.
Much appreciated and I’ve not googled again...yet. Anxiety is subsiding.
