Antibiotics needed for bite?

My dog had a scrap yesterday (very unlike her) with another god and has ended up with a bite on her tongue. Not sure if she but it herself or the other dog.

She was fine all afternoon but was very lethargic yesterday evening and looking sorry for herself. I rang the vet and they were happy to see how she was and didn't think she needed emergency treatment

She's much better this morning, been for a walk, chasing balls and eaten her breakfast.

Should I take her to the vet for any antibiotics as a precaution or is this likely to heal itself? I'm sure if I ring the vet they'll tell me to take her in.

TIA

The tongue in humans heals really well and rarely gets infected, so I'd say the same would be true for dogs. If she is eating and drinking and well in herself, I wouldn't worry about it and save yourself money. Obviously if you become concerned and she seems unwell then call. You don't give prophylactic antibiotics for dog bites in most circumstances.

Thankyou @namechangeranonymouse that's really helpful. I think I will continue on a watch and wait.
