I had another thread a week or so ago about poor youngest puppy and his gastric issues, which thankfully he is now well on the way to recovering from – after two weeks and £2k at the vet… he's a 4 month old large breed.
He’s coming to the end of his prescription food which is a mixture of wet and dry low fat GI as prescribed by the vet. He’s quite underweight, but not to a concerning level. However he LOVES the wet and dry combo, and eats better on this diet than he was doing exclusively on his dry diet before he was poorly.
I plan on slowly re-introducing his dry food over the coming days (chicken and rice hypoallergenic as he can be a bit itchy) but would like to add a wet element as he seems to really enjoy it and I’m keen to get his weight back up.
Does anybody have any recommendations for good quality wet food for puppies to feed along side dry? I’m happy to pay for quality but have heard mixed reviews about these butternut box type things.
Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks 😊 x
