A solution for excitement weeing?

On Thursday we brought home our new rescue, a one year old lab cross. He is settling really well, but we did know he had not been house trained. What we weren't prepared for is what appears to be almost constant stress/excitement weeing.
It's sometimes obvious - when someone comes in the room, when he is being fed, when he is unsure of something, some little wees come out. It happens much more rarely when he is relaxed, but he does sometimes just dribble out a little bit of urine as he walks around too.
It means he has to be confined to the kitchen/garden at the moment, and apart from when he's dozing, we are constantly mopping the floor.

Does anyone have any advice, or experience with this? Its really early days and he is doing really well in every other area - he likes being around us, responds to us, loves a fuss, and doesn't seem too stressed at all .

Time Smile it’s not been long at all.
It won’t last forever.
Try and manage things like new people by meeting outside to minimise the mess.

I would get a vet check asap to rule out any physical issues.

Urine just dribbling out when he is relaxed and just walking about needs to be checked out.
