Yellow Card for dogs

Does anyone know if there is an equivalent of the yellow card scheme for veterinary medications, please? My dog started on a relatively newly released medication last week (Librela) and she is very noticably drinking and peeing much more.

I'll of course mention it to my vet, although so far the benefits are outweighing what is a relatively minor issue. But, given it's a new medication, I wondered if I should be formally reporting it.

Google hasn't turned up anything useful.

Thankyou.

Take a look at 'Librela experiences' on Facebook. Increased thirst (and thus increased urination!) seems to be a common side effect. I'm watching with interest as our elderly girl is on the waiting list.

It's definitely worth reporting Smile

@LBF2020 ahhhh that's interesting. I'll definitely let my vet know and report.

We've been waiting since september. She's quite up and down day to day anyway so it's sometimes hard to tell what's chance and what's meaningful, but either today's been a really good day or it's helping.

Hope you get there soon.
