Constant barking for attention help!

My beautiful 10 month old lab is driving me crazy.

She is constantly barking & jumping for attention. She gets loads of fuss, and play. Daily long walks and cuddles on the sofa. Lots of puzzle toys and chews etc

She is so good in every other way and we all absolutely love her. But Its driving me insane.

If I go to the toilet and shut the door She barks. If I try and sit with a cup of tea she barks. If I try and watch a film/ read a book anything that involves not giving her constant attention she barks. Getting my toddler to sleep she barks.

When she jumps I stand ignore her and she sits, when she sits she gets the fuss. This is a work in progress but she is doing really well with it.

The barking however is getting worse, I ignore her and she jumps and nips faces and will bark for ages (half hour solid this evening before I caved), I redirect with a toy doesn't work, try to settle her in her bed doesn't work. She is worse in the evening once toddler has gone to bed.

Do I need to keep persevering or is there something I'm doing wrong or missing? She has never been on her own for long periods of time as between shifts either myself dh or dm are always home, and I do think she has some separation anxiety.

Any advice? I want to enjoy my evenings and my pup again! 🐶

I always find that teaching speak, which is very easily learned because dogs like to bark, and then teaching quiet helps with this. The nipping in the face would get a timeout with no words, because that is still attention.
