Best Stop Pull Harness for Lab

Our pup is 5 months old and I bought a stop pull harness for him last week which really helped with his pulling.
However, the bit where the lead attaches on the top is long and very flappy when I let him off lead.

Any recommendations for a good stop pull lead that’s more compact on top?

We use a ruffwear harness with clip at front and back. Pup was never off lead at that age though as recall was no where near perfect

I use Trulove harness on my 2. They have rings on back and at chest; I wash them to get rid of mud , and I use a halti double ended training lead.
My older dog walks beautifully with or without the harness; younger one, the harness keeps her in check.

I’ve got a trulove one as well, they’re basically cheaper copies of ruffwear.

It sounds more like you’ve got one that tightens though, if there’s a loose bit, you won’t find one that works like that without a loose bit as it needs slack to tighten up to make them uncomfortable when they pull.

Any double-ringed harness will work, you don't need to spend a fortune on Ruffwear (waste of money IMO, and we have one!).

We have an Eagloo harness from Amazon (less than £20) and it fits our beagle just as well as the Ruffwear does - it's also in much better condition and hasn't started falling apart like the Ruffwear did Hmm
