Dog ramp for car

I've got an aging gsd and she will very soon need a dog ramp to get in the back seat. I currently get her front legs up on the car seat then hoist her in. Neither of us is happy with this. So I've just been looking at dog ramps. There are a hell of a lot.
So I've currently got a range rover, but I do use other cars regularly, like the works van and my sons car and DPs car etc.So I will need a ramp that can work on many cars. Some cars are smaller than others so folding or telescopic type would be better.
Any recommendations, any other ideas? Price, well up to a hundred but if it's the bees knees then I dont mind paying more.
Tia

Watching, as we have a large greyhound who takes 2 adults to lift into the boot! I have heard on greyhound groups that quote often they refuse to walk up said ramps, as they're scared...

We haven't invested yet, but I'd like one so I can take him out on my own in the car......

My elderly GSD wouldn't do a ramp, she was terrified of bridges and anything like that. She was fine with a few steps so I bought caravan steps for about £16. She needed a bit of coaxing at first, especially to get down but she soon got the hang off it.

Hope you find something that works. It's hard when they get older and their legs go.

Never thought of steps. Ok am gonna go look for some shortly.
Thanks for that though it's a brilliant idea that never would have occurred to me.

She would be ok with a ramp I'm sure but they all look quite narrow and i did worry she may fall off and never want to use it again.

Leonberger owner here. Tried many ramps he hated them all. Mainly I think because he didn’t like the surfaces they use underfoot (the Sandy/roofing felt stuff). Then I noticed Zara Philips promoting a LR dog wash and ramp combo for the new LR disco at the time (2017) in a magazine. it was expensive, but the ramp is telescopic and folds into a bag which is a reasonable size when folded. The fog was also happier to use it. I get stopped all of the time by other dog owners asking where I got it from. Dog wash is obviously useful also. Link below. Hope that helps!

Thank you @Netaporter. Can I ask if you still have it cos for that money it should last forever, and will it work on other cars? By the looks of it it's big rubber lumps at both ends rather than fitments designed only for one car, so it should do. But before I think about laying that sort of money out I want to be sure.

@Congressdingo I do still have it. I’ve swapped it once for a new one as the popper that holds the strap for putting it away broke. They are a well-kept secret and car dealerships are rubbish at selling you stuff you actually need (I should know I was in the motor trade for many years Wink) so you could probably get a good deal from a dealership not in a rural area where demand might be low. Or maybe look on marketplace or ebay?
