Not her normal self

We have had ddog for 2 months. She is 3 and we adopted her. Last week she was sick in the night but recovered quickly. This morning she's really lethargic. We think she's tired, as we are giving her more exercise than she used to get, and will skip the morning walk as she had a run last night. She ate her food this morning but she's got a gurgling stomach, tail not wagging and she just seems off. Any tips for knowing how long to see if she's just having an off morning, before we call the vet? As first time dog owners I'm not sure what to expect / look for and obviously I want her to be ok.

I would ring the vet now and ask to be seen today if possible.

Could she have eaten something dodgy? My pup managed to eat half a soggy old greasy chip shop chip the other night and had a gurgly tummy that evening and kept pacing around, she slept fine then had diarrhoea in the morning and was very quiet for a few hours and slept through lunch but then perked up by the evening and was fine so sometimes they can just be "off" for a while. Trust your instinct though as if you are worried better to see your usual vet than end up at an out of hours vet in the night £££!

Wanted to apologise for not getting back to this thread - it's been a busy week. Ddog perked up quickly and is fine now. I think I was just having 'new parent nerves' and I need to gain confidence in knowing what is and isn't normal. I'm definitely learning that she (like us) is not always perky first thing in the morning! She is so lovely.
