What does my dogs humping mean? (And other issues)

I have a female toy poodle pug cross. She is a year old now. I like to sit on my bed and watch tv during the daytime. Whenever I do this, she will come and mount my arm and start humping. She digs her claws in and gets quite aggressive. I tell her no and get up and put her behind her gate in the kitchen when she does this. It hasn’t really worked though. This is the only occasion she does this. Only when I’m sitting in the bed.

Is this begging for attention or something else?

I Initially tried to train her to go in her dog bed/play pen since the first day I got her. I had sleepless nights for 5 nights in a row because she cried every hour of the night. I was a walking zombie by day 5 and then accidentally fell asleep with her on my bed. After that, it all went out of the window. She point blank refused to sleep in her bed and I gave up trying in the end. From then she curls up on my bed at night time and goes straight to sleep no issues. I don’t have a problem with her sleeping on my bed, but wonder if she has made it HER territory?

She’s quite the teether and loves her toys (unfortunately some of them haven’t quite lived up to the power of her jaw and have made their way to the bin) and very excitable and shows over the top affection with jumping up and licking when I come into the house and loss of bladder control. I don’t react to her at all and try to calm her down before I unlock her gate, but as soon as I do, she goes ballistic. She has had certain calming products that have helped somewhat. She is not left very often but the humping started before I left her for the very first time. I tried to wean her into leaving her alone in baby steps but unfortunately one day had to leave her for two hours to tend to an emergency. She was about 6 months old and I think that undid everything unfortunately.
She had puppy classes which were great....but these are the issues that remain.

Just some advice really, thank you

I can't offer any help but our puppy humps my leg too and I just assumed it was a teenager thing which would pass... Interested to hear thoughts though.

Had an issue with my 5 month mini poodle humping his bed. Happened mornings after a walk and before bed. Our trainer suggested a lick mat as a soother/calmer. It’s done the trick. Evening’s - he now chews on a dried tripe stick and this helps him unwind for bedtime as it takes some time to chew down.

Over-stimulation, perhaps? How much sleep does she get?
