Food for a miniature schnauzer

I'm doing a bit of research on what to feed our little lad when we get him- he's currently on what I think is sort of "own brand" kibble which looks the same as a brand I can get locally and ticks all the boxes in terms of grain-free, high meat count, minimal crap, but I'm trying to figure out what to move him onto come weaning time. My main consideration is to be wary of the fat count given mini schnauzers can be prone to pancreatitis- I read to keep it between 12-17% ideally??

My two options are the "follow-on" food to what he'll be on which looks like this:
Crude Protein 26%
Crude Fat 14%
Crude Fibre 3%
Crude Ash 9%
Ingredients: Lamb 50% (including Freshly Prepared Lamb 30%, Dried Lamb 18% & Lamb Stock 2%), Sweet Potato (23%), Peas (9%), Pea Protein, Potato, Linseed, Beet Pulp, Omega 3 Supplement, Minerals, Vitamins, Vegetable Stock, Mint (0.2%), FOS (96 mg/kg), MOS (24 mg/kg)

OR Acana either adult small breed (which has 17% fat) or light and fit (which has 11% fat) both of which have 50:50 whole meat and meal in them, though the score really highly on allaboutdogfood.co.uk (though so does the own brand stuff to be fair).

I'm aware I'm overthinking this but sadly that is my modus operandi. Could any other mini owners offer advice?

Thank you very much in advance!!

We have a 12 week old mini - we feed her butternut box, I mainly stick to the turkey/chicken/fish meals as they are lower fat than the beef/lamb/pork options. It was recommended on a mini schnauzer group on Facebook - it’s a subscription so we get a box every 2 weeks. So easy and our mini absolutely loves it! I have a 50% off code, let me know if you’d like it.

I second the recommendation for Butternut box, it's a very good dog food.

Have you looked on allaboutdogfood.co.uk it has researched all the available dog foods and scored them based on how healthy they are.

Thanks for the replies!

Unfortunately I’m in Ireland so can’t get butternut box (which looks amazing).

Have been poring over allaboutdogfood for ideas but again not all of them are available in Ireland. The two I’m debating above are though and get 94% (Acana) and 87% (the other one) so both pretty good I think.

Might hit up some Facebook pages for advice too.

Thanks!
