Help! Incontinent oldie

My 14 year old JRT cross has recently started peeing indoors when I leave the room for literally anything more than 10 minutes. I let him out regularly so I doubt it can be because he can’t hold it in. Today I’ve had to mop up 3 accidents and I’ve been home with him all day. Thank god I don’t have carpets but am at my wit’s end, is it time for nappies? Do you think he might have developed separation anxiety? (no sign of it before). I suppose I could take him to the vet to rule out a UTI but if it’s not that, does anyone have any advice?

Have you tried Propalin? Our vet prescribed it for our old girl. No idea if it works for males.

Definitely vet asap in case of UTI. Also possibly dementia or anxiety? Otherwise, Leaknomore is a good herbal medicine for urinary incontinence or the vet may prescribe Propalin which is also very good.

Our oldie is on incurin tablets. Go to the vet with a urine sample to save time.

Reusable belly bands are great for male dogs - we got the washable ones and it saved my sanity, and flooring!

I would go to vets and I would use puppy pads so at least it won't ruin floor.

He needs to go to the vets. Take a urine sample with you if possible.
