Are expensive dog beds worth it?

Overwhelmed with choice with all the bits I need to get for incoming rescue dog (4 yo, about the size of a border collie).

Beds - are the more expensive ones worth the extra cost? Looking particularly at HiK9 (with a topper) - about £85 - or a Tuffies one (£165!). Or am I better off getting a cheaper one from Amazon like this or this? Dog bed will be in hallway where it can get a bit drafty, on tiled floor, so I'd like them to be raised off the ground a bit.

Also - flat type (e.g. HiK9) or a nest type???

I wouldn’t pay too much they usually end up on your bed anyway.As long as it’s draught proof and supportive it will be ok.

We got two Danish Design beds and our girl loves them. They’re so comfy and warm

We've got a Tuffies nest which our big dog loves. It's 10 yrs old and looks almost new. The arthritic smaller dog has a memory foam slab from an internet foam shop, in a Tuffies fleece cover (they were really helpful about making it a slightly different size to fit the slab I'd got, but this was a few years ago now!). For night time, he's also got an orthopaedic Silentnight bed from QVC which was a very reasonable £40ish. He was a terrible chewer, though and munched through so many £20 Aldi specials...

Has anyone ordered one of those fluffy Pupnaps beds that keep popping up on Instagram? They look amazing but I'm wary of Facebook/Insta products after a couple of real drop-ship shockers.
