Brother Stole My Dog - Family Dog Etiquette

Bit clickbait-y but I moved back to the family home following a break up during lockdown v1. The family dog is ADORED by all and has become my rock.

I went out for a run and turns out my brother who lives on his own has taken him for a few days. I know he's going to be spoiled but I'm actually devastated (just finished having a cry)

What is your family dog etiquette?

Is it the dog you both grew up with or one your parents got after you'd left?

I don't think there is an etiquette...it's all too personal. If it's something your brother does sometimes...and your parents don't mind...then you can't complain.

I do know how helpful dogs can be when you're upset though. You're probably putting your emotions into this because you're already upset OP. Flowers

This isn't a question about dog etiquette it is about your parents communication with you.

Is it though? It's their dog...I assume it is as it lives in their house. Op and her brother have moved out...
