4YO golden not herself

My 4YO golden retriever bitch isn't herself. She's a healthy dog, the only thing she has ever needed the vets for is reacting badly to a spot on treatment where she developed horrible sores at the sites it was administered.

She is cleaning her vulva more frequently and is quite cuddly and clingy. Usually in the evenings she snoozes on the dog bed with the others quite happily, but she's contorting herself awkwardly to lie by our feet between the sofa and the coffee table. She is eating and drinking normally, although last night she seemed to have a colic type episode and was spitting up into her mouth then swallowing for a couple of hours. My other dog has digestive issues so we always have windsettlers in (same ingredients as infacol!) and gave her a couple of those which seemed to help.

Deep down in my gut I just feel she isn't right, but I have no idea what it is. She has not been spayed and I worry about pyo, but she doesn't really have the symptoms, does she? And her last season started 20th June, so we are quite far past it.

I am struggling with anxiety at the moment (12 week old baby and PND) and am an over-thinker at the best of times. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I don't think being off colour is enough to warrant an emergency vet appt, but equally I don't really want her waiting until Monday to be seen...

They swallow anything - can you account for all your socks ?

Is she pregnant?

Thanks for the suggestions. Definitely no chance of pregnancy for her as my dog is neutered and she doesn't go out of sight even on off lead walks. The vet couldn't find much on Saturday night, she had an ultrasound done and no pyometra. She had a high pulse rate and was uncomfortable though.

She went back today and is now producing milk, so has been diagnosed with a phantom pregnancy and has got gavistop. They think she may have a UTI too, poor sausage. Much better than pyo though!
