What are your staffies favourite toys, and what lasts?

Hi all, picking up our staffy pup soon (not just a lockdown purchase, we've been looking for a while before finding our pup)
I've been looking at toys, and treats as I want to get some bits in now before he comes home with us, just wondering what toys your lovely ones enjoy playing with, there is so much out there! Already got some tennis balls on the way and rope toys.

I have a staff/whippet cross and she will destroy EVERYTHING except Chuckit balls (look on Amazon), she can skin a normal tennis ball in about 10 seconds, really hard nylabones or antlers, and very strong ropes (tho we made our own tug of war toys out of old jeans cut into strips and then plaited). Kongs stuffed with food are brilliant for occupying her and she can't bite pieces out of the red or black ones. Good luck!

Yes, I'm picking up some nylabones this week, and a kong to stuff.
I like the idea of cutting up old jeans and plaiting them, I might steal that. I have old jeans that I am definitely never going to fit back into haha.

Mine finds balls boring but took to chewable stuffed animals. Eventually I got her a soft stuffed squirrel with a squeak (now bust) that she really loves and will chuck in the air and chase if I throw it. I bought another identical one as it was so successful. She will ignore the toys stuffed with rope which she used to like as squirrel is favourite. Think I got it from viovet online.

We bought an ostrich bone (air dried) from pets at home yesterday. Puppy has teeth like a saw. She happily gnawed on it for an hour till we took it away. While there was a full scale Sunday roast going on that she'd normally have been counter surfing for!

Also she has a couple of Kong stuffed animals that we use for tugging games which have all lasted really well.

I buy yak chews but that will be dependent on the age of your pup.

Kong squeaky tennis balls last ages. Any otber tennis balls have a sadly limited life. She has a bigger than normal size one that she likes to carry round. Ropes for tugging and 'killing'. The only soft toys that last more than 30 seconds are the children's toys from IKEA - no idea why, but she carries them around, shakes them a bit, tugs them a bit but never really shreds them.
She also has a Kong that we stuff with treats - the really tough ones.
I've tried other dog toys from various places and they've lasted about 30 minutes tops.
Oh yes, a boomer ball to chase round the garden. She can't get her jaws round it so it literally last forever.

Not a staffy but a tugger...mine LOVES the kong on a rope ..they last for ages, and you can throw them far without using a ball chucker, and they are great for the best tug games.
I have however lost one at every place we walk.. they catch in the trees if your aim is lousy like mine!!!!

Oh and a 'roadkill' squirrel that squeaks from Pets at Home. She's had that a year now and still adores it!

My boy destroys everything, even now at the age of 12 with dementia and spinal issues. Indestructible toys don't work, apart from a boomer ball - which because he can't destroy it, he gets frustrated with it and won't play with it for long
Best toys have been basket balls from sports direct and large rope toys. I still buy him cheap £1 squeeky toys because nothing lasts, so I'd rather buy a few toys for cheap then a more expensive one when they last the same amount of time
